What is the official 2020 Lexus UX release date?

We are proud to introduce the new 2020 Lexus UX! This elegant SUV is the first Lexus model to be constructed using the brand’s strong, lightweight Global Architecture Compact platform.

From the model’s graceful curves to its precision, athletic handling, the 2020 Lexus UX is an impressive sight. Choose from two versions, including the front-wheel-drive UX200 with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 10-speed Direct Shift CVT.  The other option is the 2020 Lexus UX250h with a more powerful version of the 2.0-liter engine paired with a hybrid drive system.

Lexus hasn’t announced an official release date for the new 2020 UX, but the new model is anticipated to arrive in the Lexus Concord showroom as early as winter 2019.

This sophisticated model debuts with a long list of updates, including new technologies, premium interior trim details, new safety features and much more. Here are some of the new features includes on the 2020 Lexus UX:

  • New Android Auto functionality for all models
  • Updated Enform trial periods
  • Blind Spot Monitor is now available with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
  • A new “washi” instrument and cabin panel trim inspired by the grain of Japanese paper
  • New single-knob controls for the UX’s air vents to better manage airflow direction and cabin comfort
  • An available new electric tilt and telescopic steering column for the 2020 Lexus UX Luxury trim
  • Newly-developed run-flat tires with improved performance
    • Run-flat tires give the vehicle the ability to still drive with the tires even if the air pressure drops because of a tire puncture.
